Shipping & Delivery Policy

Thank you for ordering from Kitchen Doula! We are a small company and we strive to have every order arrive in perfect condition and to have you be completely satisfied with your purchase.

  • For local delivery: Your order will be packed in the morning, picked up by our delivery partner, Roadie, and delivered to you in the afternoon. You will receive a notification when the driver is on their way and another when the delivery has been made. Our drivers make every effort to follow your delivery instructions but we ask that you ensure that the delivery address is correct and that you or your recipient is present to receive the delivery if leaving it at your door would be unsafe. In the event that your delivery is not completed, please contact us immediately and we will make every effort to remedy the situation. If the driver cannot be reached, we may have to redeliver to you on a subsequent day or offer you a credit or refund for your order.
  • For shipping: Your order will be packed midday at our commercial kitchen and picked up by UPS in the afternoon. You will receive a UPS tracking number when it is picked up and you can expect to receive your order within 1-2 days. Please ensure that your delivery address is correct and note that we cannot ship to PO Boxes. In the event of a missed delivery, please contact us immediately and we will do our best to remedy the situation.
  • For all orders: Please note that we are delivering and shipping perishable items and we do our best to ensure that your items will arrive frozen or, if thawed, then still very cold. Thawed items can be refrozen, per the USDA as written here  https://ask.usda.gov/s/article/Is-it-safe-to-refreeze-food-that-has-thawed. All items should be placed in the fridge or freezer immediately upon receipt and consumed within the week if kept in the fridge or by the best by date on the container if frozen. You are solely responsible for proper handling, storage and reheating of your Kitchen Doula products and should consult the USDA guidelines  https://www.fsis.usda.gov/food-safety on safe food handling and preparation.
